D.A.V. Thrift Store of Iowa
DAV Thrift Store of Iowa exists to provide to all citizens in the Quad City area a store of quality goods for resale at affordable prices. The DAV Thrift Store of Iowa is conveniently located just three blocks west of the North Park Mall at 1112 W. Kimberly Road, Davenport, Iowa 52806.
With approx. 20,000 sq ft of floor space, and at least 40,000 items on the floor at any given time. We daily add 3,000 to 5,000 to the sales floor of new items. This means most everything on the sales floor is different each week !
Our merchandise is all donated, new and used, we depend completely on the generosity of the people and businesses of the Quad Cities Area for their tax deductible donations, which we greatly appreciate.
All Profits of the store go to DAV Department of Iowa for the Veterans Hospitals (see www.daviowa.org ) to assist Disabled Veterans in the Quad Cities area, and to support the Veterans Hospitals for Veterans throughout the State of Iowa.
The Store is non-profit, so by decree by the Iowa Department of Revenue, we charge NO SALES TAX . The Store is governed by a Board of Directors who are all Disabled American Veterans.
